Listings say “bright” and “sunny”. Whether the living room gets sun in December depends on the building across the street, and that is something you can check.
Open the address in Shadeline, move through a winter day and a summer day, and see when the windows and the balcony are in the sun.
What to check
- Sun on the main windows around 21 December and 21 June
- Whether a neighbouring building shades the balcony or garden in the afternoon
- Hours of direct sun on the facade, from a point report
- What a taller building next door would change
How to do it
- Search for the address and turn the map until you face the facade.
- Choose 21 December and drag the time slider through the day. Repeat for 21 June.
- Switch to Analysis and tap the facade or the balcony for a point report.
- Save the view, or share the link with whoever is deciding with you.
